• Use to take off copper crimp rings in the event of a mis-installation
• Cut the pex pipe as near the end of the barbed insert fitting
• Open the tool to its fullest & place the stub end of the crimp ring removal tool into the fitting
• The cutting blade should be on the outside of the fitting & pex pipe

Description - Watts Water Technologies WPCRT-1 Crimp Ring Tool

A heavy duty tool for the removal of PEX copper crimp ring without damaging the PEX fittings. To use, cut PEX tubing as close to end of fitting, insert the blunt end of the tool into the fitting with the cutting blade against the tubing, close handles to but tubing and pull out fitting. Fitting should be good to re use.
